1.0 General

1.1 This privacy policy (the ”Policy”) applies when you submit information to Stock Republic AB, reg. no. 559175-4998, Åkerslundsgatan 6, 167 72 Bromma, Sweden, e-mail: info@stockrepublic.io (”Stock Republic”), via the contact forms at Stock Republic’s websites, Stock Republic’s social media accounts and similar third-party services (the ”Forms”) or where you have otherwise reached out to Stock Republic for business purposes, as well as where Stock Republic has collected information about you via social media accounts, other public sources or by us both having attended an event, meeting or had a similar interaction for B2B purposes.

2.0 Which data does Stock Republic process about you?

2.1 Stock Republic collects and processes your personal data when you submit information in Forms, such as name, e-mail address, and other information that you may provide by such Forms. Stock Republic also collects information through social media, public searches, event and other meeting attendance, and own or third-party cookies and other follow-up tools; see section 7.

2.2 Your personal data is kept by Stock Republic only for such time periods as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected. However, Stock Republic may retain the personal data for a more extended period of time if required by law or if needed to protect Stock Republic's legal interests, e.g., in the event of an ongoing legal proceeding. In such cases, the personal data is only kept to fulfill such legal obligations and protect Stock Republic's legal interests, which are legitimate interests of Stock Republic.

3.0 Why does Stock Republic process your personal data?

3.1 Stock Republic processes your personal data for several purposes. The main purpose of Stock Republic’s processing of personal data concerns providing the information you have requested when filling out the relevant Form to fulfill the task you asked for, such fulfillment being the legal basis for the activity. Stock Republic may also use your e-mail address, where provided, for the purpose of direct marketing efforts in respect of Stock Republic’s products and services, the basis being Stock Republic’s legitimate interest in promoting its business operations. The data may also serve as material for marketing and customer analyses, market research, statistics, follow-up of business operations, and business and methods development, which is carried out based on Stock Republic’s legitimate interest in following up and analyzing its commercial contact persons.

3.2 Stock Republic also processes your personal data to improve and customize personal offers and service provision. Personal data and positioning data may, e.g., be processed and cross-checked, segmented, and analyzed to enable Stock Republic to, via direct marketing efforts, provide information, offers, recommendations, or updates on products and services provided by Stock Republic. These activities are carried out based on Stock Republic’s legitimate interest in providing relevant information and offer to its commercial contact persons.

3.3 If you do not want Stock Republic to process your personal data for direct marketing, you may notify Stock Republic thereof in writing via the contact details provided in section 8 below or by using the “unsubscribe” function part of each direct marketing e-mail received, allowing you to manage your communication preferences.

4.0 Third Parties

4.1 Stock Republic may provide or otherwise make available information relating to you to Stock Republic’s collaboration partners and companies that process personal data on behalf of Stock Republic, i.e., data processors of Stock Republic, such as our IT suppliers or suppliers engaged by Stock Republic for Stock Republic’s marketing efforts. However, Stock Republic will always be responsible for correctly processing your personal data. These activities are carried out based on Stock Republic’s legitimate interest in providing relevant information and offer to its commercial contact persons.

4.2 Stock Republic may also disclose personal data, if required under applicable law or a competent authority's decision, to fulfill legal obligations. Further, personal data may be processed to protect Stock Republic's legal interests or to detect, prevent or observe fraudulent behaviors and other security or technical issues, which constitute legitimate interests for Stock Republic for performing the processing.

5.0 Changes to the Policy

5.1 Stock Republic has the right to, at any time, change this Policy. Stock Republic shall notify upcoming changes to the Policy via its website with reasonable advance notice. If you do not accept the changed terms, you have the right to notify Stock Republic that you are not permitting any further processing of your personal data prior to the changed Policy entering into force. We are allowed to change the policy terms but must inform you well in advance.

6.1 We aim to ensure that you at all times remain confident in trusting Stock Republic with your personal data. In this respect, Stock Republic has implemented such security measures necessary to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, modification, and deletion. Processing of personal data is a responsibility of great importance to us.

7.1 The services provided via Stock Republic's websites use cookies and other techniques (hereinafter" cookies") in order to function properly. Cookies are used for Stock Republic to keep statistics of the number of visits and to enable enhancements to the user experience. 8.1 Stock Republic is the data controller and is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.

8.2 You are entitled to, in accordance with applicable law, request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning you and to object to the processing as well as to data portability. You are entitled to request this free of charge. In case of requests manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly because of their repetitive character, Stock Republic is entitled to charge an administrative fee – in such cases, you will be notified beforehand.
